Primary School AI And Robotics Education

This curriculum introduces primary school children to robotics and artificial intelligence. There is one curriculum meant for K-2nd grade, while the other is for 3-5th grade. Throughout the curricula, students have opportunities to reflect on their own thinking and their expectation of technology that “thinks”. We start by helping students solidify their thinking about what robots and AI are by identifying examples in their environment. Then, we develop children’s intuition about how technology works through powerful metaphors in the form of hands-on activities. Finally, we allow children to envision how they see this technology impacting the future.
