Led by MIT RAISE + Georgia State University and supported by Google, PATH is a national initiative that connects research universities, community colleges, industry, and government to expand practical, industry-aligned AI training and career pathways.
The model emphasizes collaborative, project-based learning—where students work in teams on real-world challenges sourced from industry partners.
The initiative is building state-based hubs anchored by research universities and community colleges, working with regional employers to design curricula aligned with local workforce needs.
Already, more than 1,000 students in Georgia are enrolled in PATH courses, spanning AI foundations, data science, deep learning, and agentic AI systems.
PATH is creating clearer pathways from AI learning to real job opportunities through industry-informed micro-credentials and shared workforce skills.
