Mely Wu

Mely is the Program and Partnerships Manager at the MIT Media Lab, where she supports initiatives that expand global collaboration and innovation. She previously worked at MIT Open Learning across programs including the Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) and MIT Bootcamps, helping support entrepreneurship and education programs for learners and founders worldwide. Mely has also mentored first-year students through the MIT Office of Minority Education and received the MAP Mentor of the Year Award in 2020. She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in Economics and spent her junior year studying Economics & Management at the University of Oxford. Outside of her professional work, she is an avid traveler and a freelance SAG-AFTRA-eligible actress.
