
Ishaan Grover
Ishaan is a PhD student at MIT Media Lab advised by Professor Cynthia Breazeal. His research draws from cognitive modeling and uses graphical models for improved language generation in LLMs. He also works on reinforcement learning from human feedback for adaptive personalization of AI tutors. He graduated from MIT in 2018 with an S.M. in Media Arts and sciences where his research focused on using undirected graphical models for predicting children's vocabulary.
He received his bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech where he majored in Computer science. He has also interned at Microsoft, Apple and Palantir where he worked problems ranging from anomaly detection to natural language understanding.
