Eugene is a software engineer in the Personal Robots Group at the MIT Media Lab. His interests span probabilistic time series models, large language models (LLMs), and real-world applications of AI. He currently works on the PyTutor project, where he is investigating the pedagogical effectiveness of LLMs as AI tutors, developing a multi-agent tutoring framework, and advancing research on visual reasoning LLM.
