Project Overview
The Arabic storybook project aims to enhance the social-emotional and educational experiences of Arabic-speaking refugee children. The application contains a variety of interactive stories that those children can navigate. It leverages advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and the social robot, Jibo, who serves as the children’s reading companion. The interactions between Jibo and the children are designed specifically for Arabic-speaking refugee children, personalized based on their various needs. Those interactive learning experiences are designed with culturally sensitivity in mind and support language, literacy, and social-emotional development.
