MIT RAISE, in collaboration with Day of AI and DP World, is thrilled to be convening educators, policymakers, and researchers from around the world in Dubai next week, November 18-19, for the inaugural Day of AI Global Summit. Hosted at Expo City Dubai in partnership with DP World, the Summit marks the first international edition of MIT’s Day of AI, a global initiative, and a major milestone for our movement to make AI education accessible to all.
The event will highlight MIT RAISE’s expanding global effort to support over 250,000 teachers and 6 million students in building AI literacy over the next year. This work is supported by a multi-million-dollar investment from DP World, reflecting a shared commitment to ensuring that AI belongs to all of us, no matter our geography, economic circumstances, or backgrounds. Professor Cynthia Breazeal, Director of MIT RAISE, Founder of Day of AI, and one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in AI, and Professor Eric Klopfer, Director of the MIT Scheller Teacher Education Program and The Education Arcade, will lead keynote sessions on responsible AI use in classrooms and the opportunities ahead along with the Ministers from the UAE, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Colombia, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines. We’re excited to bring this community together and help carry its momentum forward.
The Summit is by invitation only. Stay tuned to raise.mit.edu and our LinkedIn page for updates from Dubai!
