
Program Overview
The Day of AI curriculum is a free, comprehensive resource designed to introduce K-12 students to the foundational concepts of artificial intelligence and its real-world applications. Developed by experts in AI and education, the curriculum offers engaging, grade-appropriate lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking about AI’s role in our lives.
The Day of AI Foundation provides in-person and online training to help educators bring AI to their students and responsibly utilize AI tools in their classrooms.
Suggested Scope of Program Collaboration
- Local Partnership Development: Establish a local point of contact affiliated with one or more pilot schools.
- Teacher Recruitment: Together identify and engage a group of teachers who will deliver Day of AI lessons in participating schools.
- Curriculum Adaptation: Collaborate with local educators to adapt the curriculum for the country’s context—this may include translation and alignment with cultural and educational norms.
- Program Launch Planning: Select a national launch date for the “Day of AI” and plan a celebratory event to mark the occasion.
- Teacher Training: Organize an in-person training session for selected teachers—or train local facilitators who will then train teachers.
- Impact Assessment: Conduct pre- and post-program surveys to measure teacher and student learning outcomes and overall program impact.
- Evaluation & Scale Strategy: Analyze results, refine the model as needed, and develop a plan for broader implementation.
